question bout 6700

i have an lg vx9800 and web browsing on it suckz...i have 2 used google 4 everything and on top of that i cant do everything i want on sitez and what not...im considering an 6700 but am wondering howz the web browsing.....iz it full html with java ? Thankz ppl of howard forums....

You need a full OS to get a Full supported browsing experience.. Also the screen size is REALLY small so that means lots of reformating, scaling and scrolling.

Having said that I I think the 6700 is one of the better units for web surfing.. EVDO gives your good speeds or you can use WiFi. You will need to use a 3rd party browser to get good Java support but even then it will not be anywhere near what you get on a desktop.

I have used Thunderhawk as a web browser for Pocket PC for years. I am sure it is or will be available for WM 5. Just check bitstream.com. It is a subscription service but works great for the $40-50 per year. With this is is like viewing a miniature desktop screen. Hope this helps.
