Has anyone heard of any issus out with the KX-16 Candid? We have been having customers come in a lot lately swapping out their phones because the phone freezes or shuts of randomly one had a camera issue. Didnt know if there were any others out there with similar problems. This has to be an issue on Kyoceras end since its so many.

Yes it is an issue with Kyocera. They build Junk!!! There is nothing you can do to fix these problems. They have come out with new software versions that do not correct the problems. If the display goes out, Bad flip. Camera doesn't work, bad flip. charging ports break often. Phones freeze up. batteries go bad. The kx16 and kx13 are the worst phones manufactured by any company! They need to recall every one sold!

This is a known issue with KX16's manufactured in 2005. The ones made this year supposedly have corrected this.

Thanks for the info. We found it odd that it was the same issues with all the phones and figured there was a bad batch but these are prob the last of the 05 stock they had. When looking through the records we only have a 9 percent return on those phones and we just swap them into another one and they seem to be working fine. we will keep a close eye on it though

just swapped my wifey's candid the otehr day. so far this one appears to be working fine. the previous one would have a dead battery 10 minutes after taking it off the charger, litterally!!
