Hello,

my 8900 recently stopped working and I already received a replacement for it of the same model. The problem is that the phone turns on but it turns off within seconds ( low battery shut down ) however I know for a fact the battery is fully charged.

Now what I was wondering was, is it possible to copy everything from my old phone to transfer to my new phone? including text messages/address book using bitpim or something like it?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks for your time.

EDIT: To be more specific what I was planning on doing was backing up the file system of both phones using bitpim then copying the filesystem from my old phone to my new phone, is that possible without messing up the new phone?
