I'm trying to find a stereo headset for my 2125 smartphone that will work. I read several posts and everyone pointed at the Jabra c220 but this does not work. I found this headset at Cingular and verizon and tried it but music only plays through one ear. I have tried every stereo headset I can find and got the same results from all of them. The one that comes with the phone works. I found a plantronics headset that has a 2.5mm adapter and it will let me hear sound from headphones but not microphone.
Can anyone tell me of a stereo headset that is compatible with the Cingular braded 2125 (HTC) smarphone. I want to hear music or videos and calls with both ears. When a call comes in I want to be able to talk using the headphones and a built in mic. Cany anyone recommend a product that you have tried yourself and knows it works?

I bought stereo headsets from this site: http://www.seidioonline.com/index.a...ATS&Category=84

For both me and my wife's 8125's. The sound comes out of both ears and you can use the inline mic to answer calls as well. I bought headsets from Seidio before when both of us had SX66 pdaphones and they worked well too. I would highly recommend you try these headsets as they seem to work best. They are a little bit pricey, but are worth it in my opinion. No adapter is needed as they already come in 2.5 mm.

Hope this helps!

I bought the seidio one that MarcG speaks of, but it sounded terrible with my 8125. It was not stereo. The mic worked well, but just sounded really bad compared to the very uncomfortable set that came with the phone. I then ordered the jabra c220s. I got them in yesterday, but the sound only comes out of the right ear. I called tech support and they are shipping me a new set. They say that they are supposed to work with my phone. I can tell that there is a short or something because if I pull the plug out some, I can hear very faintly in my left ear. I even used the supplied 2.5 to 3.5 adapter to try in my sons video ipod. It does the same thing, it only works in the right ear. Havrek, just out of curiosity, which ear does the jabra work for you with?
