this refers to a problem that started for me last week, I have since had 100's of these etp emails (one every 10 minutes). Not being very technicaly minded, I couldn't relate a previous discussion on this subject.
I am using:
Mac OS 10.4.5
Blackberry 7100g
PocketMac 3.12
linked to: Entourage for addresses & notes, iCal for calendar and tasks.

Things that have happened just recently: I had to get a new sim card as the blackberry stopped recognising the original (which was about 4 years old), since then the BB doesn't know my number!, I am unable to make changes to my address book on the BB, I had trouble syncing, but fixed that by using a syncClean program. From what I understand it has something to do with watever this BES is - but I do not have email set up on the BB. When I first got the BB there was an option for Enterprise activation at the top of the main screen, but that isn't there anymore?

Your assistance would be most appreciated.

an etp is message from the blackberry server that is intended for the bb device. If you're reading it that means you're device is likely not getting it. I would talk with your BES Admin to determine how to get you set up. More than likely you are also not provisioned correctly on the carrier side as well.
