I have an Erricson T290a right now and am looking for an upgrade, using a real Cingular plan. On the site there is an Adiovox 5600 for $50 (refurb). It has WM 3.0, which is something that would be nice. I use a Palm PDA and a Mac, but have my phone with me more than either one of them so it could come in handy. I would like WM 5.0, but all the phones are too much. So I was just wondering if there are any reasons to maybe stay away from the phone, or to go after it?

ive got a 5600 and really like it. the features on it are amazing. and i really like the expandable mini sd slot (i bought a 1gb for it). im in the process of buying some bluetooth headphones for it so i can listen to music from my phone w/o wires. also the speaker on the phone is pretty loud, if no other options to play music are available i use my phone at parties or outside and its very clear and loud. I'd say buy it. $50 is a great deal

Thanks for insight. It would be nicer wit WM 5, but what the heck, I already have a Palm and I dont need the newest OS for a smartphone.

After liking many pics and reviews of a WM5 smartphone, I think I will go ahead and try to go for it. I've had a Palm LifeDrive for nearly a year now, and I shall sell it for the Cingular 8125. For the most part, it seems and upgrade from the LD, though I have to get Missing Sync to sync with my Mac...And I think it will be a good first WM device, eh?
