How To Download MP3s to the V3i?

I've never been a big MP3 guy in the past but I just got a new V3i (with DAP, not iTunes). Now I can't seem to find a good content site with access to the tunes I want with a simple method of transferring them to my V3i.

I've tried Walmart and Napster and downloaded their programs but there doesn't appear to be an easy way to get their tunes onto my V3i. I was playing around with Napster for an hour last night with no luck.

I had a couple of old Beatles MP3s already on my computer that I was easily able to get into my V3i using MPT but I just can't seem to find an easy way of generally getting tunes I want downloaded.

What is the secret? Is there an easy way to do this?

simple? Change the usb conection setting to mem card, plug in the data cable, open my computer on your pc and drag and drop whatever you want to the new drive your phone just showed up as. You dont need any software to transfer.

Thanks for your response. I understand the process to get an MP3 from my computer to my V3i. I actually had a couple of Beatles MP3s already on my computer that I got a long time ago from Rousso.net that easily transferred to my V3i. Unfortunately Rousso doesn't do MP3 song content anymore.

The problem I'm having is that I'd like to find a MP3 content site where I could go and get a variety of tunes and download them to my V3i. I tried Napster but their transfer interface doesn't recognize the V3i and they don't seem to allow you to FTP an MP3 directly to your laptop.

Do you (or anyone else) have a process that works? Let's say I want to go online and get the Beatles song "Hey Jude." Where is a good site to go and easily transfer it to a V3i without a lot of hassle. I'm not looking for illegal downloads. I'll pay for anything I download. But it doesn't seem easy to find a V3i user friendly process for this that works.

No other suggestions on how to get songs downloaded directly from the Internet content sites to a V3I? From anyone?

you can get them from where ever you want and save em to your hard drive and then transfer them youself, why would you want to be limited to only getting music from that one place that send them to the phone....just keep the bitrate at 192 or lower. Do you really need software to download them from and transfer them to the phone? Sounds like Itunes to me! I get my mp3 from the russians since they so cheap. But I already had over 40 gig of music, so I just cutt down the bitrates on em and drag em to the card.

aint gonna get much cheaper than 2 bux or so a cd! lol
