Best place to buy a 8125?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Sorry for making a new thread, but I couln't find a definite answer in any of the other ones.

I've decided to buy a 8125, WITHOUT the data connect plan, but preferably with MediaNET if that's possible.(So the $100 rebate is irrelevant to me)

I currently am on a family plan with 4 phones, all of which are now out of contract.....

I can go through my Premier account with my college.....but I found that doing that rather then the normal website is more expensive($314).....

So far it seems that simply upgrading through the basic Cingular website is the best option for me, but I figure there has gotta be a better way....any suggestions/advice?....

Thanks a lot everyone...

I called the 1800 number got the phone for 349, and the lady waved the over night shipping charges. I got the phone the very next day. Can't beat that after I had been looking around for it in town for two weeks.

Thanks for the advice, but now, right off of the Cingular Website, it's selling for $299, no rebates, so I'm hoping to get it cheaper then that.

I can find it for $199 on a bunch of other websites, but that's after a $100 rebate that I'm not eligble for....UNLESS there I can simply cancel the data plan right after I make the order, but I doubt that......

So bascially what I'm looking for is the phone for less then $299, and I don't mind rebates, but the $100 rebate Voice&Data is useless to me.

I was hoping the premier website would help, but liek I stated above, it's actually more expensive going trough premier then doing otherwise, which is strange....

again, thanks a lot for the help guys...

I just called customer service. I had previously order one through a non corporate store in town because they said they would have it within a week. Two weeks later they finally told me it was on back order, so I called cingular explained this. I then canceled my order with the non corporate store and called the 1800 number and got my phone.

Do you mind letting me know your zip code? The 8125 is still showing as $349-$50rebate at cingular.com for me.

If you want it straight up for less than $299, and don't mind going thru 3rd party website, you can try http://wireflyfriends.com they are selling it for $249 without rebate with new contract or extension.
