On a light note, that new Ryan Seacrest POP display keeps scaring people who come in and out of my store. At quick glance, it looks like some dude is crouched in the corner.

You should take the sound effects player from the Star Wars POP display and attach it to the back of the Seacrest display. So when a customer comes in it will play the Chewbacca's Growl or the Imperial March. You can also take a tape recorder and have him say, "Seacrest out" all day.

LOLOLOL I was just gonna make a thread about this....They put it up on my day off....I came in and smiled at him! I was like "WTF is THIS guy doin in our store"....

We've been putting him up behind the back snail when we close to freak people out when they look in

Oh man... I had no idea we got this stupid POP display in today until I started walking into the back of the store at the same time my co-worker was carrying Seacrest out the same way. All of the sudden, I see this scary, toothy grinning fool 2.3 feet away from my face and I screamed with two customers at the desk behind me. My co-worker was just startled that we ran into eachother about .3 seconds after my yelp and screamed as well. We all had a good laugh, but it scared the crap out of me.

Now, Seacrest stares at us behind the desk just out of our periphery. It's pretty freaky. I think we're going to move his *** to the window out front so the Girl Scouts can all fawn over it when they sell their cookies next door on Friday nights. It's crap like this that reminds me how lame my job can be sometimes.

Here is said co-worker taking his picture with Seacrest. Tell me that's not a scary smile.

this one scares me to no end with him couched over like that. i stopped into one of our stores an hour before open to get an early start on some business activations, and he was in the shadows as i was opening the gate. i looked over was alost had a heart attack. last year when i ran that store i think i traded that cut out of him to another store in the mall. i think he made his rounds to like 2/3rds of the mall haha

well the first season when they had the "take a pic with ryan" when we were still att, after the promotion i took the poster to my other work, a radio station

Well we did a seacrest sucks show and had people come down and throw eggs at him, it was a blast

I saw that pop up at a corp store today, while browsing for the heck of it awaiting for the next rep... as soon as I saw the pop up, I said to a biz rep that was walking by: "Is that Pop-up a new strategy to scare the crap out of existing customers looking/walking towards the Samsungs?"

I should have snapped a picture... the location of the pop-up was extremely creepy!

hmm, it would make a great ad... Seacrest stalking the Samsung phones in the corner of a Cingy store and jumps up yelling "Seacrest to the rescue" and smacks a dummy non-3G Samsung out of a customer's hand

Seacrest got me this morning...I was opening up one of our stores, and I didn't realize we had received the display. I unlocked the door, stepped inside, and looked up to see a maniacally grinning weirdo crouching in the semi-darkness. Scared the heck out of me, even though I had just read this thread yesterday!

I REALLY want to throw Seacrest...out.

I just have to say that this thread is hilarious. I almost wish that they would have sent us the big cut-out just because of how entertaining it could be. Unfortuanitly (or fortuanitly depending on your perspective) all they sent us was a much smaller sign with Seacrest on it. Have to agree tho, his smile is VERY creepy.

Yes he really said that. a friend of mine had the episode recordered, the next day Ryan's people issued a press release saying that he watched the porn because someone instructed him to do it for copyright infringement.
