Help! I can't get mp4 files to play on my 903!

Hello, everytime i try to play a mp4 file, it always says cannot play. I put it in the my videos folder so it sees it there, but it just doesn't play it.

I have tried using winavi 2.2 and imtoo 3gP converter to convert my .dat and mpg files into mp4 and i don't know what im doing wrong.

Please help and thanks!

try using itunes and lower the bitrate

Change extension to .3gp, should help. If not, that means header is wrong. Load file into Quick Time (Pro version!), use export to 3gp function, set video and audio to pass through and 3gp to 3GPP (Mobile MP4). If file is still not working that means video res has to be wrong (for 903 it can be 176x144 or 320x240).

I am pretty sure its the bitrate on the audio encoding. I had the same problem. I fiddled around and I found out that the audio encoding was too high. Change it to like 40000.

what firmware are you using? this matters too.
