I am having serious problems here. I set up all my e-mail acounts and I can read my e-mail fine. I just cannot send any e-mail (SMTP). I have tried Gmail, I have tried AOL, and I have tried HOTPop. I get an error that says it cannot sent check netwrok settings.
I don't know what I am doing wrong. I messed around with authentication. I tried mixing ingoing and outgoing servers. Does anyone have any ideas what is going on? Or any free accounts that they know how to set up? I would like to be able to reply to the e-mail I recieve.

if you are using GPRS then you have to set the outgoing mail server to: cwmx.com (dont put smtp.cwmx.com - just cwmx.com). Also, you have to uncheck the option "outoing email requires authentication.
I just went through the same frustrations yesterday. If you are not using edge or gprs, then this will be of not help.
good luck....you can sure spend a lot of time trying to figure things out sometimes. I know I did yesterday.

Ok I got sending mail over EDGE to work... I did have to check outoing email requires authentication to seperate it from my incoming mail, but I just left it blank and I can send e-mail over EDGE. Thanks for that.
Can anyone explain how to get this to work over wifi now?

Each network you connect to have its own SMTP server to send mails. Most ISPs lock down SMTP servers so that it can only be used when you're using the network connection of the ISP. If your wifi is connected to your home work, you need find out your ISP's SMTP server name.
