I have to say that its been fun here with you guys, but I have to say that its over for me in retail. I have been in this for way to long with the tech degree that I have. I am starting a new position with the State and I can say that I am very happy with. More money, no per say customers to deal with, no explaining of bills and why they are wrong. But I can say that my dealing with customers has shed a new light on how and what I can do as a customer. This job has had its perks but its time to move on and make a more honest living. So I wont be making anymore comments to the policies and issues that happen here becuase I wont know anything about it. Its been fun here with you guys though, good luck to all of you in the future with your sales career.

congrats! I agree the wireless industry is addicting, but the retail side of most any company sucks! Unless you worked for AT&T Wireless and made 100k a year. (it was much easier to deal with bs when your making money) LOL

I have to say that I enjoyed it. I worked for an agent that was very easy to work for. I managed 2 stores and really didnt make close to 30k a year. Plus I went to school for electronics and computer tech, and never used the degree, well I have a business out of the house, but Im looking forward to my 9-5 m-f holidays paid 401k insurance. No real retial customers to deal with. So IM just kind of burn out I guess you could say. But I am really stuck as to which carrier to go with...lol

good luck Clarks - didnt always agree with you but you usually presented good well thought out posts . and most you were right on base .

Me on the other hand just an angry man who dislikes cing but stays for own personal reasons ( Guaranteed Mortages when asking bank while standing on two feet as opposed to two knees begging for loan - the only reason besides a paycheck )

cant wait to leave - even for less dough .
