Hi,
I have a motorola v3x phone and have been trying to enable the java loader to upload java games, I was thinking off putting one of my own Java apps on it etc... (in fact I only started out wanting to charge from usb - having conquered that thought I'd see how far I could go)

I have not yet been able to successfully get any information from the phone about the file system in p2k mode in p2ktools or have the PST phone programmer retrieve any information from the phone beyond the info below...

Does the phone need to be unlocked before I can do this?
If I use the PST to try and retrieve the phone book, I get a message telling me "Phone supports more records than can be transferred! Data may be lost."
I am using a USB 2.0 Usb to mini cable just in case that was the problem

If I try using P2KTools version: 0.7.1.9, (AT mode doesn't work at all)
Switch to p2k mode, then try and retrieve any data, I get "Not found interface Motorola Test Command"
I have the USB Device installed in systems devices and Test command is one of the drivers. The other error I more commonly succeed in getting is "Data receiving error\nRe-connect the phone" although it is connected! and Charging!

I have installed the PST and installed the "drivers" (many different ones) although not sure which versions are most reliable for my phone.

I can query the phone using the PST and when asking to get phone information get this list back:

Any help here would be appreciated

Did anyone ever figure out a fix for this. Mine does the same thing with the V3xx. My old V3 worked fine. The V3xx is installed and working fine as far as conecting to the computer, but none of my software will talk to it. Its driving me NUTS!

v3xx uses p25 o5 software. It's not the same type of communication. Download the new version of p2k tools and put it in p2k 05 mode in the options. that should fix it
