520a: First time turning on

Ok... I finally got my z520a in the mail. I charged it, held down the power button, and now it's telling me to "Please wait."
The manual says it might take a couple minutes, but it's been longer than that so far. I'm getting a little worried.
Anybody have any ideas?

Well, I'll answer my own question. After calling the warrenty department and taking it to two Cingular stores, they're all in agreement. My phone is fubar.
Lovely.
My first cell phone, too. Waited all this time to get one because I didn't want to deal with any hassles, thought something would go wrong. I hate being right sometimes.
