6700 (Verizon) Video Issues

I appologize if this has been discussed before or if I am just an idiot (I admit that I am technically challenged, but I love my toys and want them to work right.)
When my 6700 records video, it is very choppy. My old 6600 never did this. Anybody know what I can do to correct this?
