i read somewhere that if u put more than 5 ringtones on your phone.... i have the Slider Remix (kx5) and i was sort of skepticalof this... BUT they probably knew more than i do so i dont wanna mess the phone up...............can somebody shed some light please?

well the only way is to use the transflash as storage you will need a computer with a usb connection and the usb cord for your phone and software also you need thesong you would like use wave editor and cut out the part you want as a ring tone and save it as a mid file then transfer that part to your phone useing the ub cable put it in the transflash file names savedsounds and you should then unhook you rphone the proper way then turn on your phone and move the file to your ringers file then you should have it or sence you have used all the memory delete the ringers youdont want that came on the phone using qpst and you should be fine

you will not mess your phone up with more than 5 ringers. right now i have 72 on there takin up about half the 16mb of space the phone itself has. the old slider se47 it was possible to overload the memory and the phone would shut off and never turn back on. but this is not the case with the slider remix. theres a few different ways to get ringers on the phone. i use bluetooth with bitpim but i have used the transflash and the usb cable also. its all possible. as long as u read around

also not sure what the last post was about but i would stay away from deleting the ringers that came on the phone. it tends to mess up other phones if its even deletable

ok... thank you both for your input... i wasnt planning on messin around and deleting stuff... i love my phone, dont get it twisted... but i dont feel like ****in around wit somethin im not 100 percent on ya feel me... again, thank you both

i jus got em on there so i can easily send to some of my friends who also have the remix and beg me too much. i did notice tho, the phone is a lil slow in certain areas with this many ringers on it but im complaining about seconds here.
