Quick (and probably stupid) question about message notification

Do SE phones have different notifications for text versus voice calls if you have a ringer id set up for someone?
For example, on my Motorola, I set a song for my wife's number and whether she calls or texts, the same song plays.
On my Samsung it only plays the song if she calls but if she texts it just alerts me with a standard beep.
