i was changing the housing on it the other day and i accidently broke the ribbon that connects to the side button on the right side of the phone (you know, that one button on the side) and now everything on it works fine except when u close the phone, it seems
as though it's still open (like when u go to the menu and close it then open it up again, the menu is still there), outer LCD doesn't display caller IDs when people call, you have to open the phone to see who's calling and push accept call or ignore call to answer...simply open it up and answer doesn't work at all for some reason. I've tried fooling around with the settings but that didn't work. You guys think that broken ribbon might be the reason why? cuz im getting a new one

There's a magnet that lets your phone know that the flip is closed. It sounds like you maybe you didn't put the magnet in the new housing.
