Auto area code 425 when you fill in things??

Does anyone have the area code always fill in with 425 ? You can remove this by going to Settings/ Connections/Advanced/Dialing rules/put a check in it and go to edit there is the area code rule . Fill in what you want or leave blank.

You need to put in the 1 in the country code in the US( it is already there);then click ok and ok to the pop up. I hope this saves someone some time.

That is the default area code used with Windows Mobile and is one of the area codes around Redmond, Washington, which is the home of Microsoft. Have you noticed that the Windows operating systems default to Pacific Time if you do not change them when you install Windows?

You can change it in the options menu in the phone to set to any area code you want. I was going to do that but I know a lot of people with many different area codes.
