Are relocations paid as a new act?

yes...rate plans, features, everything

make sure they don't have numbers reserved already though. We've noticed that if you call relocations and there are already numbers reserved for the customers, they don't show up as new adds for you. so make sure to always give new numbers when relocating.

I wonder if this will change with the launch of National Activations? If reps have nationwide dealer codes, we might not get comp'd on market transfers any more.... anybody heard anything on this?

very interesting... i hadn't thought of that. that would be nice to know.

Also...
Relocations are also charge-backs for the original sales rep, if performed within 6 months of activation.
Again, though, this could all be subject to change with the launch of National Activations

If the relocation rep has done the relo right, it does not charge the original sales rep back. This is stated in CSP. I think when they close the old account they have to put a certain reason on it so it does not charge back the original rep.

Yes the reason is -"Cancel Due to Market Relocation". No Chargeback or ETF.
