Windows XP and Sync Software Help

Hey everyone,
Can someone help me figure out how to get the XTEndPC software working with my phone using INfraRed? I've exhauted my options and am pretty frustrated. I can't get the software to recognize Infrared as a port. It only lists COM 1-12. WinXP however finds the phone when it's connected and the IR port is set as COM 1 in the Bios. I tried changing it to 2, but that didn't work neither, And I tried changing the appropriate COM port in the software, to no avail. Any help would be great. Thanks.

You need to install a virtual COM port to get IR up and running. There are plenty of instructions to be found online.

Come on: use the keywords 'virtual com port installation' with Google and you'll find dozens of pages.
