HI there,
I recently purchase an Audiovox 8615 from Virgin Mobile Canada. I purchased a data cable (says for LG VX-6100) on eBay to upload ringtones and wallpapers. I downloaded all the necessary drivers and bitpim but the software will not detect my phone. I have tried almost everything.
Does anyone know of another program besides Bitpim to use for this?

The cable you got is for an LG phone and not an Audiovox. Do not force the connection to your phone because it may not be physically and/or elctronically compatible. The phones which have data cables compatible with the Audiovox 8615 are:

I found a link to downloadable free software for many phones but I have misplaced it. I thought I had a bookmark but I do not remember the name. If I find it, I'll post another reply.

The cable I use is the same one I bought for my LG VX3200 (has worked on my VX8300, CDM8615 and my CDM8945). Same thing with the drivers. I use the BitJUSBDrivers, and has worked on all 3 also.

Only difference is, in BitPim, you have to select Other CDMA Device. You can only access the Filesystem with the CDM phones.
