Primero que nada necesitas tener instalado el MFF (Multi Flex-Flash), que viene con el programa PST (Phone Service Tools)

Segundo debes descargar los siguientes archivos

1. Un archivo flex que se llama flash Enabler ó Flex Enabler, no recuerdo...
2. Un archivo flash que es un pre-flash que te va a actualizar tu teléfono a la version R373.
3. El archivo flash .shx MP (Monster Pack). Que me imagino es el mismo que vas a descargar desde aqui. Te recomiendo pruebes otros antes porque este pana esta enamorado de un carajo que se llama 2pac y todo el monsterpack esta rodeado de fotos de ese tipo y se ve burda de gay. Claro eso es lo único malo. Por lo demas es muy bueno.

hi, im trying to connect to the web using opera mini (the one that comes with BG Monster Pack v3.0). I know this question is not referred to this discussion but i really need help on this.... when i start opera mini, it asks me to hit the center key, i do, and it says TESTING..., after a few seconds, it says:

"You do not have a working network connection. Please visit http://help.opera.com/mini/"

i had this problem before, but found no solution so i switched back to R 2.0. i cant enter letters for my gprs apn only numbers. pk commander will allow me to view the websessions file, but not edit it. what am i doing wrong? Congrates on another outstanding revolution version! i love it!

Has any one seen this before? I was trying to flash a bootloader for a rokr and I got this message. Now as soon as I put in the battery it say's blank_neptun and I can't get to my normal bootloader. Help please. Or can anyone recommend a good honest shop to send it to to fix this porblem.

Try either RSD lite or Flash Backup and see if that helps.

I just went to my default websession and copied it. Then renamed it to Java Session and changed the settings to make it work. What service provider are you using, Cingular or T-Mobile? I see both next to your phones.

Yes, that has happened to me twice in the last four months. For me it meant the PDS was erased and I had to start over. The last time I was able to cure it myself using SHXcodec to split the ramloader from an RFDI file and adding the ramloader to my backup PDS copy (copy made before I started modding). The first time I could not find any help, so I contacted Hagan on MotoX (see my sig) and he fixed it no problem. I would trust him anytime to fix any of my family's phones. Good Luck.

It's no longer smooth. Keep pause every now and then.

Use the patch on the PST.. you can use any version patch on any version of PST.

Yesterday I was crying on HOFO for the same problem.. I got this info from somebody.. so I used the 6.7 PST patch on the 7.1.1 PST and bingo it works fine.

Just today I have uploaded the REVOLUTION MP to my E398 and this is the first time I have ever done flashing to my phone.

www.e398mod.com has Rev's MPs I believe in both versions. It also tells you the improvements and additions.

Just recently change my hard and make a clean install of all application to my PC, everythings works fine except Mobile Phone Tools, Pktools, P2k Commander or in other words, all of those sofware for my moto phone does not detect my E398 Mobile phone, but if i connect the phone to my PC it detects "new motorola e398"...

I know this problem was asked before but i did not read about the link in resolving the said problem (already backtrack the forum)...can anyone help? and thanks in advance!

you are talking about the vibe sync correct? its located under Settings -> Inital Setup -> Vibe Sync -> On

Use p2kTools, on the left, under Other Features->Alerts check the last 2 options (don't know which one does the trick exactly) and restart phone.

I don't think you can do this. The clublights do what your asking but they don't work with the iTunes player. Just the noises outside the phone or around it.

*How to switch between iTunes & MediaViewer?
to switch between corelets:
1. UNLOAD active one
a) if it’s iTunes, than open i & press „0“ button & it will UNLOAD
b) if it’s MediaViewer open it & press menu button go to Mediaviewer options & choose UNLOAD Mediaviewer
2. Go to javas click to iTunes or MV (depends what you want to open)
3. Wait few seconds & press RED button to close it
4. Now go to Multimedia & click on iTunes/MV icon & wait few seconds untill it loads!

*How to use this Blacklist thing?
Okay if you receive phone calls from somebody you don’t want you can BLOCK HIM!
how to do that?
1. Add that annoying number to your phonebook & assign it to 5th category called „Blacklist“
(it’s in the end of categories e.g. familly, busines, vip etc..)
2. Go to Securitu/Restrict calls
3. Enter unlock code: 1234
4. Incoming Calls/Allow: Phonebook
that’s it! (only annoying thing will be when you access phonebook it asks you for enter unlock code)
also you can Alow: NONE so nobody can’t call you ?

*Why I need this USB video in my videos?
There's one video, which is used to make faster connection in memory card mode. Before connecting phone, open that video and pause it. Now you can connect your phone... Speed should increase from ~150Kb/s to 280-320Kb/s.

*Help My iTunes doesn't working... where are my songs?
-you screwed up your iTunesDB...
now iTunes reading songs from B/mobile/audio/ ...
if you want to sync with iTunes PC...
you need to delete your iTunes folder from trans-flash .. /b/iTunes/
than you can start all over again...

*I can only enter numbers in GPRS APN.. why?
-GPRS APN bug is caused because DRM..
you can solve it:
a) flashing new DRM
b) enter manually GPRS APN with p2ktools or p2kadvanced editor
c) restore your web sessions
IF you have GPRS apn bug than your wap is going to work perfectly...
if you don't have GPRS apn bug, then on some phones wap will not work

UPDATE for RGF
To fix MMS problem use Undo temporary audio patch (as gondel noted) (download here or you can take it from patches folder in MP archive).
To fix camera problems apply "FIX.fpa" and "49R_default_quant.fpa" from camera_fixes.7z (download here)

You will need to flex your E398 with the 42 for all. Then flash the Rev 5 and you'll be good. Use MFF to flex and then use Flash Backup to flash Rev 5. Thats what I would do. Other have different ways. There is a small how to on Shoey's MP. It can be found by searching here or at www.e398mod.com

nvm the problem is resolved.

Another thing is I used Moto Midlet Manager to install apps on TF card, but when switch to TF mode those apps are not there, only "Install New" option is available. Why is this ?

I know I am jumping on a running train. I havent modded a motorola before but I have some experience with Siemens.

Now I recently found out my rogers ROKR E1 which as been lying idle since I returned from Toronto.

I cannot use it because it is tri-band. Is there anyways I can make it Quab-band? I am asking this because I have seen people on other forums make E6 Quad-band.

I promise I will learn fast.

Succesfully flashed this monster pack with Flash&Backup 3 today. Great job! I like the iPhone style skin and all its functions. There is one thing that I am worried not working: Auto call resume. The song is not resumed after the call.

Motohell MP auto resumes the song but I really like this MP better. Anybody else having the same problem?
