You'd better say your phone name.

the best way is to use the cable that came with your phone and attach it to your computer go to computer click on the temp drive then clicked savedsounds and put them all there

I have a Kyocera KX1V from Verizon Wireless, and I recently purchased the cable for the phone and I can't get the BitPim to detect my phone. If anyone knows anyhitng about this subject please reply here or to my username. I have the newest version of BitPim so that isn't the problem.

That will be the same as using the sandisk memory card. I've tried saving the file i made from audacity to savedsounds, it just shows up empty on my phone. And by way, i have an kyocera kx5.

Ok What You Need To Do Is Change To File Name Steps Are As Follows
1 Make Ringtone Save As Mp3
2 Find The Ringtone Under C:/ Whatever The File Is Called
3 Change File Ext To.mid
Hint Make Sure You Have File Ext Showen In File Names You Can Do That By This Go To "my Computer" Click Tools On Top Of Window Then Click "folder Options" Click The "view" Tab Croll Down In The Adv Settings And Find The Option That Reads "hide Ext For File Names" Make Sure Thats Not Checked

To Change It To Mid All You Do Is Replace Filename.mp3 To Filename.mid And You Should Have A Window Pop Up That Says Are You Sure You Want To Change File Ext And Say Yes Now Its A Mid File Then Just Save It To Saved Sounds Onto You Memory Card And Your Done

ahahhh yess. Thanks man!!! dammit all this time, ive been doing the ext. wrong. I put .midi instead .mid , thought they would be the same

Wade...you actually need an older copy of bit pim like this one...http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/....irlab.pnap.net
0.8 hasnt worked for me at all. Also keep in mind that you arent going to be able to use the "easy to use" features in bitpim since they dont support kyocera phones. your going to have to do everything through the filesytem tab.

can someone either email me bitpim 7.32 as an attatchment to wadecountypd3@aol.com or send me a link to that exact download because after looking around a bit I think that is the program i need. the above link form shygirl wont let me use it it says error when i try to run the program, any ideas?
