V325 seem edits

First of all I like the 325 except for a couple things. I don't think the speakerphone listening and talk power is quite up to snuff, meaning not enough audio out or in. Same goes for earpiece and mic volumes. They could be a little louder.

Anyway, I don't care about ringtones, calenders picture transfers to my Windows xp Sp2.

I have the USB cable. I have been reading many, many threads on modifying the V3, 710 and 815. Can someone tell me what programs I need to get started. Remember, just the gains I'm interested in messing with.

Finally, has anyone managed to adjust their gains on the V325 yet? If so, can you provide a "how to"?
Thanks

But, I would like to know how MultiMedia Studio can be made functional in MPT.

I WOULD like to be able to transfer photos from this otherwise useless camera, and be able to maybe even put other ring tones, and wallpaper on my v325.

Thanks in advance.

I'm also looking around for other edits that work, I'll post here as I find them.

I was able to use p2kcommander to removestock pictures from the phone. I used photoshop to make pictures the same size and with the same filename and replaced them, and they work.
I also took "verizon.gif" from the 'mobile' folder and changed it to a Red Sox pic instead, and it displays on the external display when the phone is open. For this you want to:
-Keep it the same size(pixels, not file size)
-Use black only, no color
-keep the background transparent
-The black in the image will be the part that lights up, and the transparent part will be the background.

I also succesfully edited the "customer_opening.gif" from the 'motorola>shared>picture' directory. This is an animated gif with 17 frames. I wasn't sure how the phone would react to more or less than 17 frames, so I kept it at 17 frames with the same timing on each frame. For this I used Adobe ImageReady, but I'm sure you can use other gif software. Now when I open my phone I see my personalized animated GIF.

This is copied from my own post in another thread:

UPDATE: I have gotten P2KCommander to let me access and download just about everything(Its only been a few minutes). Follow these steps:
NOTE: This is after already doing Mark's Seem Edit.
1) Open PST Phone Programmer
2) Open P2k Commander
3) In The newest version of p2kcommander, it opens a "daemon" in the tray. Once p2kcommander is open, right click on the daemon and close it.
4) now you can use p2k commander

I think the daemon screwed everything up, it wouldn't work with the daemon open.

Hey, I noticed you succesfully changed the verizon image to a red sox one on the front. Do you think there is any way to get it to show the time on the external display while the phone is open?
