Does anyone use Sony W800 or 750 w/ Cingular?

Just wondering how the signal is using these triband phones without the 850mhz band. I was about to purchase it, but my friends recommend to use those phones with T-Mobile instead because the lack of the additional band.

Any experience with phones of that nature? Thanks

I'm in Las Vegas and I had a K750 during the Fall, I was in love with the phone, but the signal strength sucked without the 850. In my room, I'd get 2-3 bars at best. At school...NO SIGNAL unless I was outside. Not even the Cingular tag showed up. So I had to get rid of it. Aside from the signal hassle, I still miss that phone to this day.

From my understanding, it would be just as bad on T-Mobile. Gotta wait for that W810

or better yet...the K790

I have used the K750i for about 3 weeks back in November and I was impressed with the coverage. I never dropped below 3 bars. However I am in the LA/OC market using a 5 year old 32k sim.

I know ASimpleFarmer has both and was on his to Las Vegas yesterday and he was using the W800 and he had solid reception all the way from San Dimas to Vegas.
