Hi, should be receiving my 8700c tomorrow. Have couple questions.

Can you go on any websites and stream and such?
Is EDGE really as fast as DSL? Or is it more like 56k or just a bit better?
Other then GTalk is there a way to use aim on this? How is Gtalk? pretty standard?
Can i sync my yahoo mail to this device and how long does this process take?

also, when viewing websites, is it fit-to-screen? or you have to scroll craploads?

1. No, there is no streaming with the 8700c.
2. EDGE is pretty quick. No it's not like DSL.
3. There are several choices for AIM. (Ramble, Yak-On, Verichat, Web Messenger.)
4. You'll need to upgrade your Yahoo account to enable the POP3 feature to do so.
5. Not too bad.

ok, what is it in comparison to dsl then? not nearly that fast? or pretty close as far as just web browsing goes?

Can you make purchases and stuff through the phone? like on ebay and stuff?

I thought i read that now you can use the free yahoo acct to sync...
