Hey guys,

I got my new w600i last night. For some reason mine dosent have any demo games, etc.. How do I get those on my phone. So far its not a bad phone, but Im not quite sure if im in love with it, I will use it for a few more days and probably just send it back. How does that proccedure work? I bought it from cingular.com e store support.

Thanks
Ryan

To return the phone, call e-store at 1-866-391-0749. The automated system won't recognize your ssn and zip most of the time, so you'll need your web order number (if you don't know it, just use nine random numbers when it asks for it).

Anyhoo, as long as you have the box and everything that came with the phone, and you haven't damaged the phone at all, there should be no problems. They'll send you a shipping label to mail your phone back, and once it's received and checked for damage, you'll either be refunded the purchase price on the credit card you used to place the order or your Cingular account will be credited the purchase price (I'm not sure exactly which they do)..

ok how long do I have to return it 30 days? The phone price was billed to my Cingular account so that will probably be the way it will be refunded.

You're right...30 days...

would anybody be able to send me the .jar files for those demo games that are included with the phone out of the box.

Thanks,
Ryan

Ok thanks, are you using the Sony Ericsson File Manager? I thought for sure there was a folder in there.

Thanks,
Ryan

You'd wish there is a way to do this. It will make everyone's lives with the w600 easier and the WSOD will be non-exsistent.

So pretty much there is no way. I hate cell phones, there really anoying, lol. I thought I would be in a whole other world going from Motos to SE. I think I will just send this W600i back and just use my V3. Sure it has some good features, but there isnt really any "wow" factor to the phone. However, it preforms a lot better then the V3, not RF wise however but UI wise.

Let me first say that I'm not a game player. However, the games that come with the w600 are a joke! There is not a single game that is permanent, not even dull ones like solitaire, backgammon, etc. All of the games (I had five) let you play _once_ in a very cut-down fashion. Then they just stop!

This is my first SE. All of my nokias always had 3-4 games that were useful for time wasting. Is this decision (i.e.--demo games only) a cingular or SE decision?

At least I got to delete them to free up space!

ok but is there any body that actually has these files. Please PM me thanks

OK im still within by 30 day period and im trying to exchange this phone for the LG CU320, but all I have been getting is a run around. Can someone please help me out? Im in the Upstate NY region (12205-zip). If there are any Cingular reps on this forum, I really need some help.

Its always a runaround with Cingular. Ive was on the phone for about 2 hours tonight and still no answers.

Thanks, and please reply,
Ryan

I would say box up your 600i like it came, with all cords and manuals and everything, and just take it into the store. That's what the guy in my area told me to do

Yes I wish I could do that. The problem I think there is, is that I ordered it through online sales. The other issue is that the phone was billed to my Cingular account. Or are those not issues, should I really go to a Cingular corp store? At this point im so ticked off at the whole thing that I just want a refund. No one is giving me staight answers about the LG CU320 phone I want.
