I have a vx8100 and i can put animated gifs up as the wallpaper. But they will only cycle once then pause. Does anyone know if it is possible to make it continuously cycle?

I just copy the gif file to the pics folder on the miniSD card. Then browse to
the gif with get it now/get pics/my pics. Browse to the animated pic you want to use the hit Options/Set As/Wallpaper/Main Screen/OK

Then go to Service Menu "Menu 0 000000"
Then "2" Field Tests
Then "*" Power Save Mode

Set Power Save Mode to Off

Dont Copy the GIFS to the phone through bitpim's wallpaper routine or
you lose the animation. Just put them on the memory card.

Some gifs are built to only play one time.. maybe change those in a gif editor?

Related, has anyone converted gifs successfully into a format for the 8100 that plays at full speed? (I find the gif playback amazingly bad for a phone that can actually play back video and sound.)
