Flashed a Nokia 6101b and gained more problems!

I recently sent away my 6101b to be flashed because T-Mobile disables Java apps from connecting to the network.

The problem is, the "App. access" menu option is still greyed out and gives the error "Not available for this application". Those of you that had this phone flashed for the same reason, did you have to do anything special to get this to work?

Another problem from the flash is the IM option in the main menu causes the phone to reboot immediately, every time.

The version on my phone now is Nokia 6101, v04.10, 07-09-05, RM-76. The label on the back of my phone says RM-77. Would that make a difference?
