Ok for a while now i have had the SK2 and its just getting annoying i havent liked it all that much, but my contract is up in a month and im canceling.
So im in the market for a new phone what i want is to go back to a flip phone with SOME of the features of the SK2

Must haves:
Large outside screen
AIM capability
a lot of customization capabilies(biggest thing i hated with SK2)
Astheticly nice looking
Decent camera

the phone ive been lookin at lately is nextels 930i but nextels usualy a little expensive and requires big deposit

You could go for my personal favourite, the Motorola V635. Moto are renowned for there customization capabilities, and the camera is good, it has lots of other functions and to my eye it is nice looking.

What carrier is the phone for? i dont realy like t-mobiles service since i have had them, i would really like cingular of verizon

Well I think Verizon is CDMA (live in Canada, so I'm not sure), so thats not a possibilty because the V635 is a GSM phone, so cingular is really your only possiblity. Unfourtunetly nobody in the states released it on a carrier so you would need to get an unlocked version from a website somewhere.

If your going with cingular get the v635 great phone. If your going with verizon then the best phone would be the E815 is easily hackable .

Both the E815 and V635 are very solid phones, and very similar as well, you can't go wrong with either. I trust GSM more than CDMA (E815) so thats what I suggest but if Verizon is a really stand up company with superior coverage and service then go with the E815.
