Will PEBL come Cingular? New ones just released!

So does anyone know whether Cingular or anyone other than T-Mo will offer the PEBL? They just offered new colors on www.motorola.com and said it should be for sale Q2 2006. I've checked out a couple phones and finally know I want this phone ... just not for $300+!

I'm sure eventually everyone will carry the PEBL just like everyone eventually has picked up the RAZR. However right now T-mo has an exclusive on it, I think the very earliest we will see Cingular carrying it is sometime this summer.

When I stopped into three different Cingular stores they didn't even know what the PEBL is. Usually the reps start to show off the new phones at least a month or two before the stores get them.

haha no offense to any reps out there ... but i've realized most of the have no clue about the phones even when they have had training

hopefully someone will know or have a good idea soon - although an unlocked version would be perfect

My contact has told me that Motorola has presented it (again) to Cingular for testing, but nothing concrete, not by a long shot.

tripy ... did you ever do a review on it? i've read a lot on-line though there were conflicting issues since some had the prototypes and some had the supposed final versions. does you contact have any idea on what the hold up is - any chance it's to add EDGE support? thanks for any input...

My friend has a PEBL & I have a black RAZR. My previous phones have been the Moto T720, V220, & the V551. Ever since I got the RAZR, I have fallen in love with phones with bigger screens. I do believe that the screen on the PEBL is slightly smaller than the V551. Yea, I know the phone looks cool & feels smooth in your hands, but what else makes this phone so appealing to people?

The nifty flip mechanism. "obeymoto" voice dialing. Screen3 on some models. It's not a RAZR, that probably sums it up.

I dont have the phone to review, but a contact of mine just knows that it was presented to Cingular again.

I have no experience with the device.

Once Cingular gets it I'm sure it will be a more popular phone. I have yet to see one person using a PEBL in public.

I'm picking one up today. It doesn't matter if Cingular gets it or not. I prefer to use an unlocked/unbranded phone anyway. (I wish my 6682 was unlocked/unbranded too)

My fiancee gets asked all the time where she got her PEBL, no other phone out there right now looks quite like it.
