I just bought this today unlocked and unbranded. So far I like it alot. It's thinner than the Slvr.

hows the screen, is it as bad the v220. since its not a tft screen

It's almost as bad as the v220 screen. The screen is also smaller than the SLVR. I can live with it.

i was about to buy that phone. kind of just to have it as a backup and mess around with it because its really cheap. but then i saw that the main screen was only 65k and i quickly changed my mind.

i almost got one til i saw the l7 at best buy for 150

The 65k colors doesn't matter since the color depth is not an indicator of screen quality. The fact that its low-res and STN matter much more.

That has to be with contract. For comparison, an L6 goes for $150 with no contract.
