why? I am wondering about this phone because I would like to find out if it might have better/louder speaker and ear peice than the D357. I am reading alot of reviews that the audio is not loud enough on it.

I think the audio on the D347 and D407 is very good myself.

So has there been any update on this phone? as to when it might be coming out for sale? I was at a cingular store about a week ago and asked about this phone and the guy had no idea what i was talking about.

I have owned the D307 (Cingular), D357 (Cingular), A920 (Sprint), A950 (VZW), and except for the build quality, I have not been impressed by the earpiece or reception on a Samsung phone, so unless this phone has improved in that area, I'll probably look elsewhere. Amazingly, it doesn't matter which network I'm on, Samsung has not impressed me yet.

Samsungs suck overall in general. Voice quality, earpiece volume/quality and reception have always sucked with every Samsung that I have used.

I have a D357 that I use at work (need a non-camera phone) and the earpiece volume is awful and reception not great either.

Can someone talk about these features on the D347?
