Has anybody ran into the problem with the LED not turning red on the device when an email has been received? Is this a setting because the device I am troubleshooting isn't doing this.

This option should be part of the profile settings.

Options>Screen/Keyboard LED Coverage Indicator. I would turn it off and turn it back on, I have had mine stop once before and that corrected the problem.
Also when you receive an email it will blink red for 10 minutes or until you turn read the message.

If this helps, with the 7100t, even with the proper settings, sometimes this would happen to me when I activiated IM.
