hey guys im new here
i really need some help badly on:

1) backing up my motorolla V3i software before i change anything

2) to install a langauge pack

A question is
1) will i be able to recover the original software if i make any changes?
2) will i lose the warranty if i alter any of the software on my motorolla?

Please Help me

A backup SHOULD work .... but I've heard horror stories. ..

Yes any mods will void your warranty (however ...99% of the time they'd never look)
