hey..l im a bit confused.. can anyone help?
i have P2K seem open.. and im following the WIKI guide
it says:"
Fixing MMS
There are at least 3 ways of doing this, all involve the following 2 seem edits
seem 2742 0001 offset 62 check bit 5 turn’s on MMS Server edit
seem 2742 0001 offset 6a check bit 3 turn’s on Data Menu
Now I personally recommend using method 3, but that is only because it does not require using any other computer software, it is done strictly on the phone, but use any one you like as it is easier to type all the crap in on the computer so if you are comfortable doing so then go right ahead
"
i got the type in the seem number part.. where do i put the offset 62 or 6a into? and also, i have tried putting it into the bytes(h) part but i dont know where it supposed to go.. and then when i check the bit numbers other ones are automatically selected. does anyone know waht i should do any please let me know? thanks...

first off save your seem to harddrive just in case you mess something up. if using sdp2k seem editor, (the one in the wiki) you type in your seem number, and record number, then highlight in the above box, you will notice that it says offset xxx above were you check off the bits (reason I say to save first is because anywhere in the lower box you click it will check one of the bits. be careful.
not good at explaining but should help some, took me a min to figure out myself.
000010 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
000020 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
the xx in the top of the program represents the offset first XX in line 000010 would be offset 10, 2nd set of XX in line 000010 would be offset 11, first XX in line 000020 would be offset 20, 2nd set of XX in line 000020 would be offset 21 and so on an so on..... that should help you out.
