s710 problem

i recently bought an s710 off ebay for $200. it didn't come with a memory stick so i ended up buying a 256mb one today. so i turned off my phone, popped it in. turned the phone back on, turned on the camera chose "save to memory stick" and the screen says "insert memory stick or select sace to phone memory"...does anyone know why it isnt reading my memory stick? =/

S710 can only take 128mb stick for some odd reason. They won't recognize anything higher then that. Stupid eh.

The phone itself isn't stupid, only people. It only supports Memory Stick Duo, not PRO Duo. Memory Stick Duo only goes up to 128MB. Who's stupid now?

It wasn't directed at you, I was just pointing out the obvious. It was generalizing people that assume things without knowing the real reason why.
