For those of you near a B&M Fry's the Friday ad has the 2GB sandisk miniSD for $79, no rebates. I feel like a knuckle for ordering the 1GB from Amazon over a week ago and they just shipped it.

Not to one-up you or anything... but 10 days before the massive price reduction, I bought my 2GB miniSD card for $155! Then they told me it was backordered for 4 days! ...so I emailled them and instructed them to cancel my order. They responded two days later with, "Congratulations!!! Your order has been shipped!!!!" but it still didn't show up for a WEEK!!!!

DAMMIT!!!!

damn mine was pretty expensive i ordered 2 GB Pretec mini sd from Amazon for £74.99

The price of the SanDisk poduct may be coming down because they announced their new Ultra II line of high-speed MiniSD cards at CeBIT on March 9. The new cards are supposed to be available in the U.S. in April.

2 gb, ebay, $66 shipped baby! Almost bought a 1gig the day before for $38 shipped. I don't think the 2gb is sandisk brand though, but oh well. Does the brand/speed really make that much of d ifference when using it for music or possibly movies

? I mean, why pay more if not necessary?

I went to Fry's today and got the 2GB. Man, it's nice to have that much space. I just uploaded 500MB of pics to the phone, and i still have a ton of space.

Ironically, when i got back to work, the 1GB from amazon had arrived. I might just keep it... 1GB spare card ain't a bad thing to have on hand. Or I could return, wait 6 months and pick up another 2Gb for the same price.... decisions, decisions...
