Help with KX160

A friend of mine has a KX160 from Cricket and was needing some help. He bought this phone since it had bluetooth and wanted me to send ringtones to him. After looking over the phone and trying to send ringtones, I have concluded that the phone is not capable of OBEX Push besides the VCard options. So the question is, is there a hack or a code that can enable the push option on this phone so that ringtones and pictures can be transfered? Thanks for any help, bad or good, that you can provide.

what i do to get pictures on it is go on the internet find any pic that i want put it in a email and send it to my phone number followed by @mms.mycricket.com so for instance type in 555555555@mms.mycricket.com your number goes where the 5's are then once it sends to your phone it will be a picture message retrieve it and save it but i cant help you on tones im trying to figure that out myself

according to kyocera, this phone only supports real tone ringers provided by your service provider. i have been able to send an actual .mid and it works fine but not .mp3 renamed to .mid. if somebody figures this non sense out please let me know asap

Kyocera KX160 Xcursion does not support mp3 ringtones. It only supports .mid tones. this is why in other post on the board we are trying to rename wave tones to mid to get them on the phone.

yes u have to make a .wav tone into a Ima adpcm format. otherwise itll onli play thru the speaker n not out loud. use fatbro's instructions n it'll work jus fine...
