Are you using bluetooth or a cable? on my v3i, iSync won't work over bluetooth but it works fine with the USB cable. Curiously, Bluetooth File Exchange works very well for sending ringtones, images, games, etc. to the razr. Just make sure you've turned on bluetooth on both devices and pair them up. Hope this helps...

I have both the V3x and the V3i (two of them) and I can easily xfer pics and mp3s from my mac to the V3x via bluetooth w/o any problems at all however, I can not with the V3i at all. I can send pics from the v3i to my mac though. It's really weird.

So here goes. I went to verizon to be flased from .3 to .4. big problem, as you know .2 had obex, .3 had it deleted and .4 enables it. problem is since it is not on .3, .4 is useless. verizon will not down grade it because it is no longer available. i'm not technically savvy enough for flashing so that is out of the question.

so onto plan b. here is what i did and got my phonebook on the razr. first you need to be able to transfer via bluetooth. got the belkin usb bluetooth adapter. download onsync 1.9.1, install it.

open bluetooth preferences panel and and in the Devices heading, click on setup new new device. follow the prompts for setting up the device. before i forget before you set up the device turn on bluetooth on your phone so it is recognized. make sure that under settings, you click on discoverable and check off all of them without checking "use encryption"

next, go to bluetooth set up. follow the prompts, even to th set up of accesing the web through your computers portal. use your email address and password. as for access number use your area code and phone number. don't ask, i did it as a fluke and it was accepted.

then open onsync, which is linked to your mac address book. open preferences, under the mobile device header, click your phone, serial device is /dev/cu.bluetooth-modem, baud 19200, click on load phone numbers...., click test connection, once it establishes a connecyion. click okay. your addressbook appears oin the left, on the right menu, scroll to me mobile phonebook and start your syncing by pressing the right icon in the middle two, on the top of the user interface. and voala--it syncs.

again, i stumbled onto this in desperation. no idea why it worked but it did.

best of luck.

Bertfan, For what it's worth, I've been able to sync my contacts and move pics on and off my Telus V3c using Bluetooth and my PowerBook running OS 10.4.6.

If you are still having trouble, this thread should help:

I haven't tried using a USB connection yet but I can't see why it would be much different.
