Hello,

I have a V260 on the Verizon network, and since they charge minutes for voicemail retrieval, I am using a backdoor voicemail number so it's charged as IN minutes (free). However, the backdoor voicemail number requires me to press the pound key and then enter my phone number, and then my password. I would like to be able to dial the number from contacts, and have it automatically send pound and my number. Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how?

you can enter the # key as normal while editing the phone number.

what's the back door number?

Thanks, I got it working. The backdoor number is 408-568-6300. I'm pretty sure I found it somewhere on HF, but I'm not positive.
