Last night I decided to change the startup and shutdown images and sounds. I used motokit and set everything right then and there (put the modified startup images/sounds and shutdown images/soulds - XP sounds and images) and restarted my phone. To make sure I did it correctly, I restarted it manually, and heard/saw the shutdown sequences that looked like XP's sequence, but when I turned it back on, I saw the startup image, but I can't hear the startup sound. I check the files in p2kman and even used motokit to restore the default sound, but no sound came out from startup. I even tried to manually replace it in p2kman and even deleted the 2 .db files and restarted, but no go.

Help?

EDIT: The startup tone can be played on my phone via the sounds menu.
