I bought a V3i from eBay, it's the itunes version and I would like to do some stuff but need the help of people who are in the know. I have used motorola phone tools and it connects to the phone fine and I am able to transfer wallpapers and ringtones to the phone without a problem. Also itunes works fine and files are transfered.

I would like to remove the operator logo from the phone and the line indicator. I know the operator logo can be either removed through a seem editor or through a skin editor but the line indicator needs to be removed through a seem editor. I also get the @ symbol instead of the voicemail icon(I am on tmobile). I downloaded p2kman but when I start it it doesn't ask me for a driver it just opens the progam and says phone is not connected, in system properties at that point it shows the phone as a hard drive device. I would really appreciate some help with this as I have done research but kind of stumped at this point.

Also if someone can maybe tell me what would be the advantage of flashing/ flexing to a different version as my phone is unbranded and unlocked
btw V3I rocks, and so does this forum. I have been lurking for a long time and previously flashed my V500 to a V600 with the help of this forum.

I edited the seem file to fix the voicemail but instead I get a freezing screen and the phone doesn't work. I reverted back to the original seem and now the phone works except, the line indicator is back eventhough p2ktools indicates that it's off and when I go into messages I have no inbox at all. Maybe if someone has a seem file they can just email it to me.

I got everything to work including the vociemail fix, the operator logo removed and the line indicator removed.
I tried playing around and getting disco, fun, rythm lights to work but no luck. In the process I edited something and lost my charging indicator whne the phone is plugged in. If someone can tell me how to restore it, and how to get all thi cool lights to work on my V3I that would be great. I checked the c/mobile/audio folder and there was no file "funlight.pat" at all, I added one that I downloaded and did the seem edit and the it didn't do anything except making me lose my charge indicator. I tried to restore but no luck.
