V3i Video Settings

Hey everyone. I was just wondering what are the proper settings to encode a 3gp movie for the v3i. I have converted long videos (45+) using Xilisoft and when they get to be about halfway through they begin to skip. Does anyone know any settings/converters that can convert the movie in ful skip-free? Thanks.

I have several full length movies like fight club on one card. If you want something to be able to grab stuff right from the dvd, search for handbrake...its all in this thread.
