Hi,
First of all, I want to know if the sharp v904sh will be available this summer in Asia. As i have anticipated, the target price will be ranging from between 800 to 1000us. Luckily, this summer i will be heading to Asia.. (Hong Kong, China, and Thailand) aiming to buy this phone. I was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy it from Asia especially from Thailand since everything seems to be cheaper.

Read on www.sharp.cn theres something about te 904 there somewhere...... maybe they will sell in china?

I just hope it wont be 1000 dollars canadian since that is kinda expensive for a phone that is going to be obsolete within months. I'm hoping it to be around 500 dollars canadian in Thailand.

Yes. In Thailand, sharp seems to be cheaper than in HG.
For 903, It started 700 US (28000 Bath) but the price drop to 425-500 US in 2 months.
If 904 can be unlock, you can buy 904 here. However, I'm not sure that seller will sell in the same price range as natives.

I just hope it will be available by mid July since Ill be going to Hong Kong, China, and Thailand this summer. Now the real questions is that Im still debating on whether getting a sharp v904sh or a Sony ericsson K790a. Currently using the K750i and to be honest i was never a big fan of the candybar phone. So im actually looking forward for a flip phone as my next phone. Just as curiosity, which digi cam will better...the v904sh or the k790 from sony ericsson. As i am aware, the k790 camera uses the same technology used in the cybershot digital camera. I think it would have an advantage. Comments anyone else.

It doesn't necessarily use the same technology as what's in a Cyber-shot camera. Sony Ericsson would like you to think that. It's just got the Cyber-shot brand name, nothing more.

Having said that, the K790i/K800i has a proper flash, the only advantage over the 903/904 which has an LED flash.

It should be out in Japan at the end of this month, so the rest of the Asia market will likely get them by then. Not sure that it will be unlocked by then though.
