Sad...he must be desparate to make his Quota (sp?)
I got a ticket for "rolling" a Stop Sign...one day a Cruiser was behind me...I had like 3 Stop Signs ahead and made sure I Stop...Complete...Counted 3 Seconds before Proceeding, I looked both ways...HE WAS UPSET...!!!

so your aunt didint see him AND he kept following her and making note of the mistakes she made? wouldnt KNOWINGLY letting someone drive "dangerously" like that be againts the law?
btw about the quota thing, a 2 police officers fromt he YRP came to my law class in grade 11 (2 years ago) and we asked them about the quota thing, they said theres no such thing. (then agianmaybe they were lying?)

How long did the cop followed her? She never checked her mirror or she just doesn't know that a cop has been following her all along?

There is a 2 seconds rule on all stop signs. But as long as you make a complete stop, you'd be okay. Best to look left and right so the cop behind know you're paying attention. Yeah, sometimes they are bored so....a stop would bring a little excitement, I guess??

just don't stop too quickly lol, i got pulled over and warned for stopping to quickly (true cuz i saw the cop, there was a car on my right parked so i had to stop a bit into the next lane)
lucky me....

Think about it. 95% of the time when a cop sees you running through a stop sign and decides to pull you over, he'll do it immediately. Just the fact that he's only following your aunt's car means that he is still hesitating, thus giving her a second chance.
If the cop wasn't in a hurry to pass by Tim Horton's, perhaps he could have followed your aunt until she gets her license suspended on the spot, adding infractions one by one.
Is it just me or the majority of women only use the mirrors in a car when applying make up on the freeway?

somebody was bored........

This one she should use the "Ticket Fighters" for...fee is usually 1/2 of ticket costs...she's going to get a temp or lost of license if she pays.
good luck to her.

a friend on mine was driving pretty fast on the highway... eventually got several tickets for careless driving / tailgating / speeding / etc....
167 in a 90 + other stupid things (in a camry =p)
got a pretty good ticket fighter, went to court.. blamed the cop.. "why didn't you stop him when you caught his first offence kinda thing"
got off with a $$$$ ticket.. that's it

When I was first learning to drive a manual, I had problem starting the car from start. I approached a stop sign and just stood there for a good 15 seconds... lol. I started again, and when I made the turn, there was a cop right there... thank god I stopped that day. Usually I would not stop completely because I don't wanna stall.
