I just got a new mustang, its a 2000 convertable base. Everything is stock. I wanna add new rims to it.

Would these ones fit just fine?

And these ones...

Thanx.

It doesn't mention the offset... they would probably fit. But they're only 7.5" wide, I personally wouldn't get them. I have 18"x9" and 18"x10" wheels on my Stang. And they cost $600 shipped.

For the same price as those wheels you're looking at, you can get 18s and still have enough left over for the difference in tires.

Good shop = www.mustangtuning.com The Bad: Many people have these wheels.

Congrats on the new car

congrats on the new ride....

i totally agree with smeech, you should get a rim that is a bit wider then 7.5

Those rims are for FWD, I don't know the difference though

And definently go with a 9" wide rim and get the right offset

Well, i wanted to get these rims

http://www.mustangtuning.com/chma11.html

I emailed the guy to see how much shipping and everthing to Canada would be, This is what he said

Quote:
Shipping will run about $103.64 US. That would run $703.60 total for the rims and shipping. There will also be a 15% tax added to be paid at the border and about $50 CDN in brokerage fees. I do not have the conversion to Canadian, so all of these numbers are in US except for the border fees.

So before i really get anywhere, it would be over $1000 before tires for $600 rims...

So my question is, does anyone know a repuable Canadian website that has a nice selection of rims and tires (preferably packages) for ABOUT $700-900??

Thanks for your help guys.

Didn't realize you were in Canada.

Try

Packages *aren't* always the best route, pay attention to tire brand. A lot of time they're crummy tires... I got my 295/35/18 BFG Comp T/As for $110 (Clearance) at Tirerack. They usually went for $265 each.
