Hey what’s going on! I have done a search for this topic but the answer was quite vague and not quite specific. Well let me set the stage for you. I have a 7400, MSL, data cable BitPim, QPST and basic knowledge on how to use them all.
My question revolves around modifying factory ringers. As you can imagine there are several reasons for this, one to free up space, and two to make them “custom”. The one that sparks my interest is the ready link tones.
Does anyone know where these files are stored in the phones files system ? I have look thru the whole file system trying to find them with no luck.
I can probably figure this out but to save time. What format will they be in?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Guys!

I Dont Have A Data Cable So I Cant Help You. But Modifiying The Factory Ringers Would Be Cool. Who Wants Their Ringer To Be "Gymnopedie"

Anyone know where I can download the Sanyo cockadoodle ringer? I prefer MP3 or acc format. Thanks

I have looked through my phone very thoroughly and have not found whre you can change the readylink tones. theres just no way. "Custom" ringtones are easy but I've never heard anyone talk about changing the readylink tones. They do kinda suck....

The readylink tones can be changed, depending on your phone. For instance on my Sanyo phone you can assign another sound to the readylink tones. It allows me to assign any ringtone to my readylink calls. You can only choose the provided tones for the Missed or Floor tone, however so that cannot be changed. Probably depends more on your phone.

R/L tones can only be changed on the 2300 and 8300, possibly other newer ones, but not the 7400.
