okay you might laugh at me, but I accidently dropped my phone in a port-a-potty while being drunk. phone seems to work, besides one thing (luckily) the memory card slot does not seem to work. I tested out my memory card by itself via my computer and that's dead. I bought a new memory card.. and that still doesn't work.
The phone doesn't start up properly (hangs up) when I have the new card inserted.

I was thrown in a lake at a boat party and I have the same problem. Anybody figure out how to fix it?

ok for guys having problem with their memory card. i had the same problem but what i did was checked out the entire phone itself. i openned it. just what i thought. it was only loose. proper grounding inside the phone is very important. so i fixed it. power up the phone, inserted the memory card.. and guess what the phone is now working again. be sure all the screws are properly placed and tight.

Ok, i have done that and keeps the grounds. They are fine, the thing that confuses me is that my 512Mb card is the one playing up but when i put in my 64Mb that came with my K750i its works absolutely fine.
Please help

I had the same problem with my W800i but I spilt ribena all over it. I just opened it up and dryed it with a hairdryer and just cleaned it with a tissue. Seems to work fine now.. but my new 1GB doesn't

there may be a memory limit on the cards for the phone...am i wrong?

anybody happen to have a picture of the setup? .. basically a picture of what needs to be grounded. It may be very obvious but i havent been able to open my phone up ... if someone could just take a pic and kind of illustrate what needs to be done i would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks In Advance,
Sumit D.

maybe since the card that was dropped in with the phone isnt working cause it has water in it too and those are pretty much impossible to open and dry out and trying to dry it out would probably melt it just buy a new card
